LIV Construction – Extensions & Structural Build Website
A lean, SEO-led brochure site for a highly rated construction company specialising in house extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and structural work across Buckinghamshire.
Project Overview
LIV Construction LTD are a 9.9/10-rated builder on Checkatrade with 60+ verified reviews, specialising in house extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and structural building work in and around High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
They were operating almost entirely from directory profiles. My goal was to give them a focused, professional website that:
Matches the standard of work they already deliver
Helps them win more of the right projects (larger, planned jobs)
Lays solid foundations for local SEO and future lead generation
The result is a three-page site that acts as a strong “trust and proof” layer rather than a bloated brochure.

How I turned LIV Construction’s reviews into a focused, SEO-ready website
Objectives
- Turn warm interest into serious enquiries from homeowners planning extensions, refurbs and structural work.
- Showcase real projects with locations and outcomes – not just generic stock photos.
- Clarify services so it’s obvious what LIV does best and which jobs they actually want.
- Build in local SEO signals for High Wycombe and key Buckinghamshire postcodes.
- Keep the build lean and maintainable using a modern front-end stack.
What I built ›
I designed a lean brochure site around how homeowners actually choose a builder: can I trust you, what do you build, and have you done it near me?
- Home – Hero focused on extensions with social proof (Checkatrade rating), clear “Get Free Quote” / “View Our Projects” CTAs, key benefits and FAQs.
- Services – Seven core services (extensions, lofts, refurbishments, structural work, garage & basement conversions, brickwork) written in plain language instead of technical jargon.
- Projects – Six featured builds with locations, short summaries and service tags so visitors can spot “a house like mine” and see work done in nearby postcodes.
SEO & site structure ›
I kept the site shallow and human-readable so Google and homeowners understand it quickly.
- Three core pages only: Home, Services, Projects – all linked in header, footer and CTAs.
- Local keywords baked into headings, copy and project locations (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP postcodes).
- Structured data for the business, services and projects to support rich results and local visibility.
Technical build ›
The site is built as a fast, static React brochure:
- React + Vite for quick loads and a smooth dev experience.
- TailwindCSS for consistent styling and an easy path for future tweaks.
- Semantic HTML, accessible navigation and responsive layouts on phones, tablets and desktop.
- Sitemap and robots.txt ready so search engines can crawl everything cleanly.
Impact & next steps ›
The new site turns LIV’s Checkatrade reputation into a clear, focused funnel for extension enquiries.
- Stronger first impression for homeowners comparing multiple builders.
- Clearer path to contact – quote CTA, projects and FAQs all support the same action.
- SEO foundations in place for future content (more projects, FAQs and location pages).
